WHERE IT IS

Big Sky Resort is located just off Highway 191, 47 miles north of West Yellowstone and 40 miles south of Bozeman in Montana. Whichever direction you come from, the river you are following as you approach the town of Big Sky is the Gallatin River, made famous in the movie "A River Runs Through It".

Look for the Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort sign and turn west on the highway by the Conoco station (Lone Mountain Spur Road). Follow the road up the mountain about 9 miles to the "Welcome to Mountain Village" sign just before the lake. Turn left and proceed to the front of the Huntley Lodge.
