Lezlee Monroe was born and raised in Logan, Utah where she discovered her love and gift for music at an early age on the old family piano.
She had 10 years of private classical piano instruction and has been writing songs since she was 6 years old.
She participated in everything musical in Jr. High and High School, from crashing cymbals in the marching band to writing and singing the Theme Song for her Senior Dance. She studied 4 years of music at Utah State University in Theory and Composition and Music Education. She was a ten year+ student of celebrity Vocal Coach Brad Chapman from 2006 to 2016.
She has completed 13 self-published albums of mostly original music from 1982 to the present along with two instructional CDs, one on playing piano-by-ear and the other on living joyfully. She completed her latest album of conscious lullabies for babies this year.
Lezlee has been a Master Rapid Eye Technician since 2005. RET is a trauma healing modality which uses the body’s natural processes to release trapped trauma and change non-serving behavior patterns.
Lezlee met Michael and Ali Benjamin in the spring of 2017 and then became the music team leader at Satya Center for Conscious Living in Ogden until November of 2019 when Satya went virtual. This was her introduction to New Thought and Science of Mind teachings and their genre of music.
She is currently a member of the music team at the Salt Lake CSL where she is grateful for a place to share her songs.
In the meantime, she offers vocal coaching, studio musician work, songwriting instruction, playing-piano-by-ear instructions and performance coaching.
She also plays with The RaVens, a variety band, at festivals, fairs and car shows.
Lezlee has four children, three of them being accomplished singer/songwriter/instrumentalists in their own unique music career pursuits. She claims that they now coach her. Her fourth child is a gifted painter. She has two grand children. She joyfully resides with her retired (machinist) husband of 15 years in Clearfield, Utah.
