Robin Hackett is a naturally gifted singer, songwriter and author who brilliantly conveys inspiring, heartfelt messages through her music and words. She has toured Europe and performs across the US. Wherever she travels, Robin always has her trusted guitar with her. Undeniably, it is truly where her heart and voice meet and blend into one.

 

Robin has the ability to deliver powerful messages with beautiful rhythms that stay with you long after the music ends. Her sound has been compared to artists such as Sheryl Crow, Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, and Sarah Vaughn. Folk Rock, Jazz, and Americana are all home to her. 

 

With Robin’s ability to expand beyond one genre, it has given her the ability to reach audiences and industry notoriety across multiple media platforms. Her song Hard Left appeared on the CBS Hit Comedy How I Met Your Mother. She was a top ten finalist for the Wildflower Festival Singer-Songwriter Competition. Robin was also featured on CNBC Television as well as receiving editorial in Acoustic Guitar Magazine, PC Magazine, and Mac World Magazine. She has appeared on Rollingstone.com charts as well as receiving a #1 Jazz rank for “Saying Goodbye”, #2 Folk rank for “Jimmy Dean”, and #3 Folk rank for “Come on Love” which features trumpeter Grammy Award winner Chris Botti.

 

Robin studied songwriting at the Omega Institute in New York with singer/songwriter Roseanne Cash. She has opened for Woodstock legend Richie Havens, Sara Hickman, Keb’ Mo’, and John Ondrasik/Five for Fighting. Her collection spans 6 CDs of original music.
